Committed to helping others, Mark has spent twenty years ensuring the safety of others throughout his community. Most recently, Mark has launched into entrepreneurship where’s he’s able to combine his innovative ideas and his passion for helping others.

Mark is the co-founder and VP of Life Safety & Compliance at Qolsys, a leading home security and home automation tech startup headquartered in San Jose, California. The company was founded in 2012. Qolsys is one of the most cutting edge home security automation products on the market to date. Its ability to transfer security features over to everyday technological platforms makes its ease of use second to none. Whether it be lock, light or energy control, Qolsys brings an easy to use platform for home security management in the digital age.

As VP of Life Safety and Compliance, Mark helps guide the Qolsys product over the regulatory hurdles and ensure that industry standards are being met across the board within the company. Many certifications are required for bringing such a product to market, and in order to scale, Mark has been pursuing the acquisition of certifications from ETL, FCC, IC, Verizon and Z-wave Alliance. Qolsys recently closed a substantial strategic investment by Tyco International (NYSE: TYC), the $10B security giant.
